With an increase in multi-culturalism in modern society, it is more important than ever for staff to recognise and respect equality and diversity in the workplace. This course is designed to enable participants to understand what is meant by “equality” and “diversity”, recognise and tackle discrimination in the workplace, and familiarise themselves with the legal rights and responsibilities governing fair treatment for all individuals.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the different laws and legislations governing equality and diversity.
  • Recognise the different types of discrimination.
  • Understand the different ways in which equality and inclusivity can be promoted.
  • Explore the different actions and services available for reporting incidents of inequality and discrimination
